Hungarian and Slovakian Food & Beverage Companies
BACKGROUND
Maxx Energy (Slovakia), and Abonett (Hungary), are two well established food and beverage companies who seeking to grow their global export sales. While Abonett relied on traditional food shows for generating new export sales opportunities, Maxx Energy was not a regular food show exhibitor.
CHALLENGE
Both Abonett and Maxx Energy were introduced to Global Marketing Associates in the beginning of 2020 by Judit Laszlo, an international business development consultant with over a decadenof experience helping fast moving consumer food and beverage companies grow international sales. This was a period when major food shows closed worldwide. Both Abonett and Maxx were seeking alternative ways to connect with new importers using fast and cost-effective marketing campaigns.
SOLUTION
Global Marketing Associates (GMA) was able to quickly launch effective marketing campaigns using their proven methods of internationals sales development.
This includes a targeted Custom eNewsletter (CEN) campaign that focuses on reaching thousands of potential importers that specialize in our clients’ food or beverage category.
I addition, we connected both Abonett and Maxx Energy with new importers using our targeted Custom Partner Search (CPS), where we reached out to potential importers on a one-by-one basis in a pre-selected country or region of the world.
Finally, we were able to reach new buyers through our exclusive Food Export Market Directory, which focuses on only the food and beverage industry, with over 20,000 importer visitors per month. This allows our clients yet another way to connect with new importers on a 24×7 basis.
RESULTS
Both Maxx and Abonett were able to more quickly both grow new export revenue and expand to new markets, despite the challenges presented to the global food and beverage market in 2020.
Once food shows re-opened, Global Marketing Associates continued to help connect these brands with dozens of new buyers attending the shows, as well as hundreds of importers not attending, using their customized and effective marketing promotional mix.
